Bring your rose questions for Marci to answer. HOW TO MAKE A SUCCULENT CONTAINER Saturday, May 17 10 a.m. FREE Joyce Trainer, a well-known Manchester gardener, will give a demonstration about making container gardens of succulents. This will be lots of fun and very informative. ROSE & PERENNIAL MONTH CELEBRATION Saturday, June 7 Did you know that June is Rose Month AND Perennial Month? We'll be celebrating that event (as well as the start of June) in some way that day. Watch for more details! |

OUR POPULAR MAKE IT & TAKE IT WORKSHOPS Last year we hosted three of these. This year we've scheduled four. A materials fee is charged for each; our time and expertise are free! Under Pat's guidance, you'll choose what you want to plant in your container/basket (which you can purchase here or bring from home), and we'll charge you accordingly. These workshops are very popular and fill up fast. Preregistration is REQUIRED. Call us at 643-8474 or email to woodlandgardens@sbcglobal.net. MAKE IT & TAKE IT CONTAINER FLOWER GARDEN Because this is always so popular, we're holding this on two nights this year. Wednesday, April 30 AND Thursday, May 1 , both starting at 6 p.m. Sign up for one. We'll help you create your own container garden in a basket, windowbox, flowerpot - whatever you want. Bring your own container or you can buy one here. We'll supply all the plants and you'll pay that evening for what you choose. Please decide before attending whether you'll be placing your container in the sun or shade - this will make a difference in the plants you choose. Also, figure out the colors you'd like it to have.
